Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol have recruited three ambassadors from Ceredigion to encourage more prospective students to study part of their degree courses through Welsh.

The 14 ambassadors are located at seven universities across Wales and include Carys Jones from Llandysul; Elen Davies from Pencader, who attended Ysgol Dyffryn Teifi, Llandysul; and former Penweddig pupil Jeno Lewis from Talybont.

Their role will be to persuade pupils to follow part of their university studies through Welsh and present the advantages of studying through the language.

They will represent the Coleg Cymraeg at school visits, fairs and Eisteddfodau as well as record their experiences in a blog. Llais y Llysgennad will give a snapshot of their lives through pictures, videos and more.
