The owners of two caravan parks in Ceredigion are celebrating after winning awards for both businesses.
Wern Mill Caravan Park has won multiple prizes this year, and their sister site in Llanina, which only opened in March, is winning awards too.
Gwawr and Ifan Evans, Gwawr’s brother Ywain and her sister-in-law Lucy Davies run both sites together.
They opened Wern Mill in march of 2019 and Llanina in March 2026, and they are delighted by the success of the businesses and the awards they have won this year.
Wern Mill Caravan Park in New Quay-based has been named Best Coastal Caravan Park 2026 in the West Wales in the Welsh Enterprise Awards.
The site has also received a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for 2026 after reviews from millions of Tripadvisor travellers worldwide put them in their top 10 per cent of sites across the globe.
The sites’ third award of the year is from Campsites.co.uk who have named it as an ‘Outstanding Site for 2026’ with a mark of 4.93 out of five and a 98 per cent would recommend approval rating.
Llanina Caravan Park, their sister park up the road, has also been in the limelight. This park has received a five-star rating, the same as Wern Mill Caravan Park, from Visit Wales.
Commenting on the Wern Mill Caravan Park Facebook page, the family said: “We’re very grateful to have been named Best Coastal Caravan Park 2026 – West Wales in the Welsh Enterprise Awards.
“Thank you, from all of us at Wern Mill.”
Commenting on the Llanina Caravan Park’s social media about the accolade for this site, the family said: “Llanina is officially 5 star following a quality grading assessment last week by Visit Wales (Welsh Government).
“All the hard work and investment has been worth it.
“Newyddion da i ni fel teulu heddi.”
