Madam,

The piece in the Cambrian News on 30 March, Chamber of trade could help boost town, won much approval in Pwllheli, where it caused quite an enthusiastic buzz. I was delighted that mine was not the only letter of approval in your issue of 13 April.

Because Visit Wales (the official tourism body which superceded the Wales Tourist Board in 2006) seems to be too low-profile and underperforms, could the chamber of trade consider the added challenge of becoming the chamber of trade and tourism?

Carpe diem, seize the day.

Yours etc,

E Roberts, South Beach, Pwllheli.
