ABERRATION presents Cabarration - ’a cabaret night with a very queer bite’ - on Friday, 21 October and the Cambrian News has a pair of tickets to give away!

Hosted by Aberration favourite Helen Sandler, the evening has an LGBTQI+ theme (lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer, intersex, and all-round inclusive) and all open-minded people are welcome.

Jonathan Mayor will be entertaining with his cutting comedy – dressed up in glitter-storm Bollywood drag and delivered with twinkly chutzpah while Lynette Frances, who is a hit wherever she plays, combining an amazing voice with a love of entertaining, will play a range of rock and country covers to get everyone in the Friday night vibe.

Other acts to feature include Ashleigh Owen, who will be performing an extract from her one-woman show, The Rise and Fall of the Hamburger Queen; Sparkles Hoop troupe, a community troupe from Cardiff; fun ‘boylesque’ (male burlesque) from Ernie Sparkles; and Aberystwyth’s own vocal quartet Bois y Fro will perform.

Cabarration starts at 8pm on Friday, 21 October, (doors 7.30pm) at Aberystwyth Arts Centre’s Great Hall. The recommended age is 14+.
