Madam,
The shortsightedness of Gwynedd Council never ceases to amaze me. In an area so popular with tourists and visitors who contribute so much to the local economy, the council closed the tourist information offices and now the public toilets. I know councils are starved of cash but surely revenue could be raised by charging for the toilets and, if necessary, increasing the charges at the facilities. I’m sure visitors would be willing to pay.
Yours etc,
Richard Gould, Porthmadog.
