Aber indie press founder becomes the oldest-ever nominee for UK Trailblazer awardOn Tuesday 22 March from 10am, students on Business and Management, Vocational Access and Catering courses will be selling items such as Easter chocolates, gifts and spring plants. Proceeds made will be used to enable students on the Vocational Access course to continue with a planting scheme at the station, working in partnership with Arriva Trains Cymru.
Students at the fair will also be promoting the ‘Confident Traveller’ scheme which Coleg Ceredigion’s Vocational Access students contributed to earlier this year.
The Orange Wallet Scheme – a simple, low cost idea that helps break down barriers for people who may find it difficult to communicate.
The scheme is funded by the Welsh Government and co-ordinated via www.asdinfowales.co.uk.
Maggie Neville from Coleg Ceredigion, said: “This is a great opportunity for our students to do something on a community level and to support our local train station in the process.”
