Festival of Welsh Ponies and Cobs

WITH this year’s festival just around the corner on Sunday, 13 August, the committee has announced that this year’s chosen charity will be the First Responder Vehicle Appeal.

This worthwhile appeal is run by the Aberaeron Town Improvements Committee, and will ensure that those administering life support in the town and the surrounding area will have a brand new vehicle and also the most up to date and modern facilities.

Remember to support the Annual Cob Festival, with its full six-hour programme of events starting at mid-day.

The festival has numerous activities, including acrobatics on horseback, Welsh Mountain Pony Grand National, driving and riding displays and of course the running of the Stallions.

The ever-popular Inter Hunt relay has been promoted and will have a mid afternoon slot, so remember to come early in case you miss anything.

See you on the Cae Sgwâr.
