Community courses

COLEG Llandrillo have a new basic computer course and a ‘Get to know your tablet device’ session starting on Mondays at the Dragon Theatre.

Basic computer sessions will be held from 10am to 12.30pm and tablet sessions will be held from 1pm to 3pm.

Either take your own device or the tutor will be happy to supply one for you to try. The courses are free and accredited. All ages and abilities, with small and friendly classes.

Fourth Friday Jazz and Blues

MARCIA Pendlebury, the queen of the blues will be performing in the Arts Room of the Dragon Theatre on Friday, 27 January.

There is no one quite like Marcia and there is nothing quite like an evening of her favourite genre the blues. Backed by a five piece band including drums, bass, guitar and blues harp.

Food bank and film

A SHORT presentation by the manager of the foodbank precedes the film I, Daniel Blake which will be shown at 7.30pm on Saturday, 28 January at the Dragon Theatre.

The price of entry is lower than normal to encourage donations and there will be a raffle which will also raise funds for the Trussle Trust that supports foodbanks across Britain.
