Woodturners club

THE next meeting of the Mid Wales Woodturners Club will be held on Sunday, 21 October, at Carno Community Centre, from 11am to 4.30pm.

The demonstrator will be Mark Sanger.

Mark’s work consists of simple free-flowing forms that have their origins in nature and the culture of the Far East.

Wood, mixed media, texture, form and colour are all used to achieve a total freedom of expression.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced turner, or carver, there will be something for you, including a warm welcome.

If you have thought about giving woodturning or carving a go, join this friendly group of like-minded spirits and you might find there is no turning back and become a member.
