Mid Wales Woodturners

THE next meeting of the Mid Wales Woodturners Club will be held on Sunday, 19 November at Carno Community Centre.

This will be a half day ‘hands on’ meeting from 1.30pm-5pm, at which four lathes will be available for people to have a go. The clubs sharpening system will also be available. There is an extensive library with books, DVD’s and specialised tools for members to borrow. For more information go to our website www.midwaleswoodturners.com

The venue (at SY17 5LH) has full disabled facilities and ample free parking. Locally-made refreshments are on sale and free tea and coffee are available. The cost to members, their guests and other non-members differs.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced turner, there will be something for you, including a warm welcome. If you have thought about giving woodturning a go, come and join this friendly group of like-minded spirits.
