Mid Wales Woodturners

The next meeting of the Mid Wales Woodturners Club will be held on Sunday, 15 April, at Carno Community Centre, from 11am to 4.30pm.

The demonstrator will be Phil Irons.

This a man who uses wood salvaged from tree surgeons and firewood merchants, wood that would have been destined for a wood burner. Instead Phil strives to reveal the hidden beauty of this ‘reject’ wood.

Music to the ears of most woodturners who rely/can never resist, a rummage through firewood piles for hidden treasures.

Come and join us to see how an expert transforms firewood into the ‘wow’ factor.
