Coastguard

DO you have what it takes to become a coastguard?

If you fancy learning new skills such as rope rescue, mud rescue, water rescue, search techniques, first aid, communications and map work, maybe this is the job for you.

Coastguard Rescue Teams in New Quay, Borth, Aberdyfi, Barmouth, Harlech, Criccieth and Porthdinllaen are all searching for volunteers and you have until 30 September, to apply.

The only requirements are that you hold a full UK driving license, are regularly available for training or to respond to incidents, live approximately 20 minutes from the station, and have daytime availability for incidents.
