St Mary’s Women’s Fellowship

TWELVE members attended the 3 April meeting, Jessie opened with the Lord’s Prayer.

Today’s meeting was a general meeting arranging the agenda for the forthcoming coffee morning, also discussing the venue for our end of term meal. Yes, amazing the end of year comes around so soon! Bethan won the raffle.

Eleven members attended the 11 April meeting, Jessie opened the with the Lord’s Prayer. Today they had the pleasure of having a demonstration of flower arranging from Maurice Ainscough, always a welcome guest speaker.

Maurice demonstrated five lovely arrangements of seasonal flowers. These were raffled off at the end of the meeting, and Glen and Beryl donated their arrangements to St Mary’s Church to help with the Easter Floral decorations.

Jessie gave the vote of thanks. Thanks went to Maurice once again for an entertaining and interesting demonstration. Mary won the raffle.

Jessie reminded everyone again about the arrangements for the coffee morning. Next meeting on 8 May will be Rev Martin Charles.
