CLLR Emrys Jones declared an interest in the planning application for Sarnfaen Caravan Park, Talybont and he signed a Personal Declaration of Interest form and he was not present when the application was discussed.

Cllr Edward Williams declared an interest in the planning application for T? Bennar, Talybont and he also signed a Personal Declaration of Interest form and he was not present when the application was discussed.

The chairman reported that he had received a copy of the minutes of meetings of the above. Great concern was voiced that the treasurer of the committee had been asked to resign and also the manner in the way he was asked to do this. It was agreed to send a letter to the secretary of the committee to congratulate the various people who had worked hard to refurbish the hall floor. Also the chairman made it known that Patricia Lill wanted to change a bit on the hall cafe but it was agreed that this is nothing to do with the council.

The clerk reported that she had found the correspondence that shows that the council had purchased 14 salt bins on 7 February 2012 for the purpose of placing them in various locations in both villages that the council thought should have one and Gwynedd Council was not providing one there. Because that the Gwynedd Council Highways Authority was not willing for these bins to be placed in these public places that they had been kept in storage since then. The clerk reported further that she had contacted. Darren Bowater to ask if these bins were still in storage with him and that Mr Bowater had confirmed they were. It was agreed to leave the matter on the table at the moment. The council received an email from Gwynedd Council – Education Department together with a copy of the Statutory Notice regarding changing the age range of Dyffryn Ardudwy Primary School from 4-11 to 3-11 and this will be starting on 1 September.

The council received a copy of a Notice regarding Prohibition and Restriction of waiting and street parking places (Meirionnydd Area) 2019 and asking if the council has any comments or objections regarding notice “No waiting at any time” Class 1 Road – A496 on both sides of the road by its junction with the road leading to Ffordd Isaf and the notice “No waiting 8am-6pm 1 April – 30 September” The Main Road – A496 on the western side of the road at its junction with the road leading to Ffordd Isaf for a distance of five meters in a northerly direction.

It was agreed there were no comments or objections for this to be done.
