AS Fairbourne’s August Bank Holiday Festival draws nearer,some new events are being prepared.

Sally Friswell of Dysynni Dogs will be in charge of a Fun Family Pet Show and Salty Dog Acoustic will be providing music during the day.

The theme of this years festival is Fun and Friendship so it seemed appropriate that every in the village should have the chance to nominate a person to be Friend of Fairbourne 2018.

All the usual festival favourites will be in place: Race the Train, treasure trails, boot fair, Fancy dress Train, Duck Race, sand and pebble sculpture.

Of course there will be stalls children’s games, festival quiz night and an evening gig with Mumbo Jumbo!

Don’t forget this month’s quiz night in the village hall, 7pm start.
