AS winter approaches, there will be more visitors at some of the regular Tuesday coffee mornings.

On Tuesday, 29 October, Lowri Joyce from TfW will be at the poolside café to give information about the closure of the Cambrian Coast line between Barmouth and Pwllheli (26 October to 10 November).

She will explain what work is being carried out, including work on Llandanwg Station, which will be closed for the previous three weeks, from 7 October for essential repairs to the platform.

Lowri will also be happy to answer questions about the new company running Welsh railways.

On Tuesday, 12 November, Kathy Lye from Age Cymru will be the guest.

Kathy will tell all about ways in which her organisation can help older residents and give advice on the new bus pass.

She is also sure to be asked to support a fight to reverse the cuts to OAP swimming.

Everyone is welcome to attend these two events, which will take place from 10.30am to noon in the poolside café at Harlech Ardudwy Leisure.
