THE latest community news from Harlech

TfW at Harlech Pool Café

LOWRI Joyce, stakeholder manager for Transport for Wales, dropped in to Tuesday’s regular coffee morning at Harlech Ardudwy Leisure’s poolside café this week.

Lowri answered questions about the local rail service and listened to problems and concerns raised by residents who use the trains. She also outlined improvements currently being made along the line and gave details of future upgrades. In addition she was able to give advice on the new bus pass which will operate from January 2020.

By popular demand, Lowri will return after Christmas to chat with members of the community. Her visit was much appreciated and Lowri was pleased to make contact with stakeholders from Ardudwy.

At the coffee morning on 12 November, between 10.30am and noon, Kathy Lye of AgeCymru will be visiting to give advice and answer questions. She, too, will be able to help with bus pass applications. Picture: Lowri chatting with a rail user, David Reaney at Harlech Pool Cafe.
