North West Cancer Research

ON THURSDAY, 14 July, a fund-raising coffee evening was held in Neuadd Goffa.

The evening, together with donations, raised over £1,000 towards the North West Cancer Research Fund, with much of the research being undertaken locally at Bangor University.

NWCR long-service awards of 25 years were presented to Gwenda Jones and Edwina Evans for their commitment and dedication to the charity fund.The evening’s entertainment was by Ysgard, the young talented jazz band from Ygsol Harlech.

Thanks were given to all of the branch’s members, helpers and customers, and to people who were unable to come, but kind enough to make a donation.
