THE October meeting of Hanes Llambed took place at The University of Wales Trinity St David’s Lampeter campus with a talk entitled ‘Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress, the Tower of London’.
The speaker was Cwmann resident David Cooper, who used to be in charge of human resources at the tower.
He demonstrated a very high level of knowledge about the historic London fortress.
The talk was concluded by a focus on the many very beautiful pieces of jewellery within the collection known as the Crown Jewels.
David Cooper recounted the history of many of the pieces, especially the various crowns held there.
