Horticultural show

FOLLOWING a successfully re-established Llancynfelyn Horticultural Show, a small group within the community has decided to establish a Post-Show Party community group.

The plan is to arrange an after-show party for the night of the horticultural show.

Step one was to arrange a fundraiser to help cover the cost; an auction was held on 14 July, auctioning off items and services kindly donated by local people and businesses near and far.

The auction was well attended and thanks to the generosity of all who attended, £945 was raised.

The group is now putting things in place for the night of the post-show party which will take place on 2 September and include a walking fancy dress parade, bouncy castle, treasure hunt, BBQ and much more.

It will kick off at 5.30pm at Llanfach hall with the parade down to the Wildfowler.
