Alzheimer’s Society
DONATE your old or broken jewellery to a good cause at Woosnam & Davies News, for the Alzheimer’s Society Old Jewellery Appeal.
All kinds of jewellery welcome, and the money will be used to help the society in the fight against dementia.

Churches Together for Lent
LENT Lunches, prayer and reflections for Lent, are every Friday at 12.30pm in St Idloes Church Hall.

Llanidloes in Bloom
THE town council has announced a hanging basket/planter competition for the town centre to include Great Oak Street, Longbridge Street, Shortbridge Street, China Street and High Street.
Exhibits are to be displayed from 1 June-31 August. Arrangements will be judged on Saturday, 27 July. Prizes will be a plaque and £50.
Bingo
BINGO will be held at the rugby club on Wednesday, 9 April.
Doors open at 7.30pm, eyes down at 8pm. Entry is 50p, including tea or coffee. Proceeds to Tenovus Cancer Care.
At the same time and place on Wednesday, 23 April, there will be bingo in aid of St John Ambulance.
Côr Llanwnog
THE choir meets every Thursday evening at 7.30pm in Clatter Community Hall. They are a friendly, mixed choir conducted by Graham Marshman. They sing a varied programme of music, some Welsh and some English and they perform regularly.

Friends Together
ON the second Wednesday of each month at St Idloes Church Hall, from 2pm to 3.30pm, or any part of that time, is a chance for everyone to come in, meet friends and have a cup of tea. Open to everyone of all ages.
