Benefit concert

THE Klezmonauts and Friends are holding a benefit concert to support Syrian refugees at The Old Mill, on Saturday (16 December) at 7pm.

There will be voluntary donations and delicious middle eastern style food will be available for £5.

Bingo

THERE will be bingo in aid of Maesywennol Residential Home on Wednesday, 6 December, at the Rugby Club, Smithfield Street (7.30pm, eyes down 8pm).

50p entry for adults includes tea/coffee and biscuit.

ON Friday (8 December) at 7pm, The Great Oak Bookshop has Trevor Fishlock talking about his recently-published memoirs, Reporter, the autobiography of the eminent journalist, broadcaster and author.

Silly Saturday

HAVE a silly Saturday to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer.

Join Rudolph on a stroll, a shimmy or a sprint on 11am Saturday, 16 December, at Llanidloes High School.

Under 16’s £3 over 16’s £5.

Bowling club bingo

THERE will be bingo at the Bowling Club on Wednesday (13 December), 7.30pm, first game 8pm.

Light up the night concert

AT Llanidloes Baptist Church, 7pm, Friday (8 December), doors open at 6.30pm.

Hosted by Huw Jones it features Sing With Us Llanidloes Choir, David Hilliard, guitarist, Harriet Earis, Harpist, Zac Evans, Cornist.
