A man and woman from Cenarth have both been remanded in custody by magistrates after they appeared in court charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply in Penparcau.

Gareth Farr and Chloe Evans, both of 11 Dan y Graig, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on 2 March.

Farr, 45, and 38-year-old Evans are both charged with one count of possession of a quantity of cocaine with intent to supply at Rhydybont, Penparcau, Aberystwyth on 27 February this year.

Farr and Evans are next due to appear before Swansea Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 2 April.

Both Farr and Evans were remanded in custody by magistrates until that hearing date.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the arrests were made last week.

A spokesperson said: “On Friday 27 February 2026 officers executed a Misuse of Drugs warrant at an address in Penparcau, Aberystwyth.

“During a search of the property, officers located and seized a quantity of Class A drugs along with money and items consistent with the supply of illegal substances.”

Police say two other people have been released on bail.

PC Sturdy from the Neighbourhood Policing and Prevention Team added: “This warrant forms part of our continued efforts to disrupt the supply of illegal drugs in our communities. Drug-related activity causes significant harm, and we remain committed to targeting those involved.”
