Dog show
NEWTOWN and District Canine Society is holding a companion dog show at the community centre on Sunday, 4 March, in aid of Llanidloes Hospital League of Friends.

Book launch
LOCAL author Ursula Martin launches her new book ‘One Woman Walks Wales’ at the Great Oak Bookshop, Great Oak Street on Friday, 16 February, at 7pm.
Friends Together
YOU are invited to come in and join everyone on the second Wednesday of each month at St Idloes Church Hall, 2pm-2.30pm, or any part of that time, come in, meet friends, have a cup of tea, open to everyone of all ages.
The first meeting will be on Wednesday, 14 February, at 2pm.
Côr Llanwnog
THE next concert is on 23 February, when they take part in a concert in Llanbrynmair Community Centre.
‘Musicians for Water’ is fundraising for a village water supply in Uganda.
The concert starts at 7pm, tickets £10 for adults, including refreshments.
New members of the choir are warmly welcomed, in particular tenors and basses.

The Montgomeryshire group AGM will be followed by a show and tell on Saturday, 17 February, at 2pm, at Guild Room Baptist Chapel, New Road, Newtown. Interested non-members welcome at meetings.
