Tuesday Club

TUESDAY, 10 September, saw a small group of Tuesday Club members take a return trip from Tywyn on the Talyllyn Railway.

This was followed by tea and cream scones in the railway station tea rooms.

Those present were unanimous in their verdict that it had been a really pleasant outing.

Having had a day of continuous rain the day before, it was with considerable relief that the travellers realised they were to be treated to a good deal of sunshine on their outing.

It has been muted that the speaker at the Canolfan for the October meeting will have as their subject ‘rewilding’.

In a rural area such as this, it is expected that some pretty poignant questions will be asked.

Accessibility open day

SENIOR volunteer co-ordinator Angela Paxton is anticipating a good response to an accessibility open day at Gerddi Bro Ddyfi Gardens on Tuesday, 24 September, from 10am to 4pm.

We will have a bilingual questionnaire about accessibility, available on paper, or on www.surveymonkey. co.uk/r/F8YDBHW if you can’t come on the day.”
