Pensioners club

A MEETING was held on Tuesday, 3 September, with Mrs E Poole in the chair.

Mrs Poole welcomed members and sent best wishes to members unable to attend. Sympathy was extended to Mrs G Rowlands and family in their bereavement.

John from the well-known duo John and Alun entertained members who joined in the singing.

Mrs Poole thanked John for a very enjoyable afternoon.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, 1 October.

Members are requested to bring two bowls and cutlery for the meal, which will be £5.

Ladies Club

A REMINDER that the first meeting after the summer break is on Thursday, 26 September, 7.45pm for 8pm at the Nanhoron Hotel.

The annual subscription is £10.

Alison has arranged an excellent programme and they look forward to seeing all members and anyone who would like to join; new members are always very welcome.
