A Llandysul man who admitted making indecent images of children over a five year span will be sentenced in Crown Court later this month.

Wayne Evans, of Eithinog, Pentrecourt Road, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 27 February.

The 59-year-old pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing on 5 February to three charges of making a total of 23 indecent images of children in Llandysul between 1 February 2020 and 28 January last year.

Magistrates adjourned the 5 February hearing for an all options pre-sentence report to be prepared.

At the 27 February hearing, magistrates decided Evans should be sentenced at Crown Court.

He is due to be sentenced at Swansea Crown Court on 20 March and was remanded on unconditional bail.
