Ladies club

MARIAN Jones from Siop Eluned, High Street, Pwllheli gave a flower arranging demonstration showing some very attractive Christmas ideas, and donated her fee to the president’s charity, DASU.

The next meeting on 21 November is a fun bingo night with a Christmas theme.

Members are invited to bring guests with them and asked to provide small wrapped prizes and raffles.

Those who haven’t booked and paid for their Christmas meal, need to do so at this meeting.

Pensioners club

A MEETING was held on Tuesday, 5 November with Mrs B W Jones in the chair.

Mrs Jones welcomed members, sent best wishes to members unable to attend, and Mrs D Cartwright and Mrs S Meason were wished a recovery to better health.

Mrs Jones introduced Carol Vernau who demonstrated the decoration of a Christmas cake.

Members enjoyed sampling the cake.

Mrs P Brownhill gave the vote of thanks.

The next meeting will be the trip to Llandudno on Tuesday, 3 December.

The bus will leave the garage at 8.30am.
