Museum
THE Museum closed on 5 November until Easter 2018.
On Saturday, 25 November, the Welsh Place-Names Society is holding a workshop in conjunction with the museum between 10.30am-3.30pm.
They will be collecting, recording and protecting local names, including the names of farms, fields, river pools, caves, creeks, ruined cottages and many more.
They invite all who can to contribute names to bring them to the museum, preferably on a map, and help to transfer them on to their digital map.
Each name will then be recorded on to the National Database held with the National Library.
Help them record their history for future generations.
