HUTS Workshop, the Newcastle Emlyn-based charity, has been awarded £4,640 thanks to Tesco.Shoppers at Tesco have been depositing blue voting tokens into a collection box to vote for the local community project of their choice to receive funds from the sale of carrier bags.“HUTS offer a variety of activities including paper crafting, woodwork, cookery and pottery to adults with mental health challenges – now we can add gardening to that repertoire,” a spokesperson said.“We have always wanted to create an outside space for our members and thanks to the money from the Tesco carrier bag scheme we can do just that.”Members of HUTS Workshop are seen picking up the cheque from Tesco
