PENPARCAU Community Forum’s community centre has just celebrated its first anniversary of opening to the public.

One of the first of a host of successful events was the 2017 Halloween party and organisers of this year’s party are promising an even bigger and more spooky time at the Halloween disco during half term.

Events co-ordinator Julie Thomas said: “Last year’s event was a lot of fun for youngsters and parents alike and we’re aiming for an even scarier time this year.”

“There will be a fancy dress competition for young people of all age groups and the youngsters are welcome to bring in their carved pumpkins for judging as well.”

The disco will be on Halloween, 31 October, from 4pm to 6pm at Yr Hwb.
