Penparcau Community Youth Forum’s Homework Club, in collaboration with Aber Unversity’s Centre for Widening Participation and Social Inclusion, offers a quiet space, help with homework and a bit of fun too.

Phil Westbury, Youth Forum mentor, said that some places were still available:

“If you are between 11 and 16 years of age, live in the Penparcau area and need a place to do homework, or even a little help especially with maths, then come in and see us,” he said.

The Homework Club is from 6pm till 8pm on alternate Tuesdays and the next session is on 4 December.

Dr Debra Croft, of CWPSI, said: “It is a quiet space for people to do homework, where they can also get help if they need it. The emphasis is on low-key fun learning.”
