Arch Noa

ARCH Noa parent, baby and toddler group are celebrating their fifth birthday this week.

The group meets at the church hall at the rear of Holy Trinity Church, Penrhyndeudraeth each Tuesday from 9am to 11.30am to enjoy games, snacks, crafts and a monthly visit from the health visitors who is on hand to answer questions and support parents through the children’s early years.

Leader Angela Swann said: “I am delighted to have been involved with the group for four years, and to see it continue to be strong and develop just like the babies and toddlers that attend each week.

“It is lovely to see the children enjoying friendship and fun at these informal play sessions. The group also meets every first and third Thursday of the month for Music and Movement, directed by Siri Wigdel of Theatr Ardudwy.”

Cangen Deudraeth

MIS yma roedd y gangen yn ffodus iawn o gael croesawu Kit Ellis atom i roi hanes sefydlu ei chwmni Cryms ar ei fferm yn Llwyndyrus.

O’r funud gyntaf gynhesodd yr aelodau at bersonoliaeth annwyl a di-ffwdan Kit. Rhoddodd hanes ei bywyd gan gychwyn ar y fferm yn ardal Taliesin. Wrth ei chyflwyno fe gyfeiriodd Rita, llywydd y noson, at ei magwraeth yng ngogledd Ceredigion ac ei dyddiau ysgol yn Ysgol Uwchradd Machynlleth.

Bu mewn amryw i swyddi am gyfnodau byr cyn cael ei maes delfrydol, sef mynychu Coleg Llysfasi a Choleg Amaethyddol Aberystwyth, i ddilyn ei gyrfa.

Pan yn ddarlithydd yng Ngholeg Glynllifon, sefydlodd hi a’i gwr Ifan fythynnod gwyliau, sba a thwbyn poeth. O’r amser hynny, roedd yr awydd i ymestyn wedi ei harwain hi ac un o’i chyn-fyfyrwyr, Sioned Williams, i sefydlu busnes gwneud teisennau cri. A dyna gychwyn Cryms. Roedd y straeon a’r troeon trwstan am y datblygiad, y brandio, y cynllunio a’r marchnata yn wirioneddol ddifyr, â’r aelodau yn ei hannog ymlaen gydol yr amser i glywed mwy o’r straeon doniol, gan gynnwys ei chyfarfyddiad â’r Dywysoges Anne yn y Sioe Aeaf. Stori werth ei chlywed a digon o gyfle i flasu’r bisgedi. Diolch Kit am noson i’w chofio.

Y mis nesaf cawn gwmni’r Parch Marcus Robinson yn sgwrsio am flasu gwin. Croeso cynnes i chi ymaelodi ar y noson yma hefyd.
