Carnival disco

THE carnival disco will be held at Pantyfedwen Hall on Friday, 7 April, between 4pm and 6pm. Admission will be £2 for adults and 50p for children.The names of the carnival queen and her attendants for the 2017 carnival will be drawn from a hat during the disco by the present carnival queen, Cari Davies. The carnival will be held on 1 July and the president will be Trystan ab Ifan, Cardiff, formerly of Pontrhydfendigaid.

Spring fair

RHYDFENDIGAID Sisterhood’s annual spring fair will be held at Rhydfendigaid Vestry on Saturday morning, 8 April. The fair will be opened by Huw Lloyd, Cardiff (formerly of Old Abbey) at 10am. There will be a cake stall, bric-a-brac stall and raffle. Admission will be £1.50 for adults and 50p for children, including light refreshments. A warm welcome is extended to all.
