THE Strata Florida Project is working with the National Library of Wales ‘Casgliad y Werin’ (the People’s Collection) to help make sure that the history of the Strata Florida area is told by the people who know best, and that local memories are not lost.

On Saturday, 23 March there was an informal introductory session with Gruffydd Jones of the National Library of Wales about the People’s Collection.

Gruffydd gave an introduction to the People’s Collection, showing how you can use the website to discover more about the history of the area and will also explain how to share your own memories and stories as part of an allWales digital archive.

Join and get involved with the Strata Florida Project by helping to tell the story of Pontrhydfendigaid, Strata Florida and the local area, in the words of the community – the people who live in, work in and love the area.
