Inner Wheel Club

THE last fundraising event before Margaret Humphreys retired as president of Porthmadog Inner Wheel was a street stall which raised a very good sum of money for Awyr Las, the NHS charity for north Wales.

President Margaret thanked all who had helped in any way to raise a substantial amount for the charity.

Angela Swann was then installed as the new president and given her ceremonial collar.

She presented Margaret with a bouquet of flowers as a token of thanks for her year as president.

President Angela spoke enthusiastically of her plans for the coming year and presented her committee with their new badges of office.

The next meeting will be in September.
