THE latest community news from Pwllheli

Rotary Club

IT was all smiles for representatives of the Cylchoedd Meithrin of Nefyn, Morfa Nefyn and Edern recently as they picked up their cheques from the Pwllheli Rotary Club.

During the busy build up to Christmas the Pwllheli Rotary Club Santa Float made its way around the streets of towns and villages of the area collecting money for good causes. Many local charities assisted the float in their local area and for their efforts they received a percentage of the money collected.

The money was recently presented by Liz Saville Roberts (MP) at Plas Heli when the Rotary Club hosted a thank you buffet for all the volunteers which was kindly paid for by the Asda store at Pwllheli.

RNLI

THE Ladies of the Pwllheli RNLI Ladies Guild had a busy day when they attended the Asda store in the town recently. They were collecting as well as selling various RNLI gifts and cards which helped raise money for the RNLI Station in Pwllheli.

The Ladies Guild are very grateful to Asda for allowing them this opportunity to use the store to raise money for the Pwllheli RNLI Station.
