Walking Club

THE next walk is scheduled for 8 April, and is called ‘Twm Siôn Cati’s Cave – with Devil’s Bridge Walking Club’. Have you ever been to a cave? How about visiting the hideout of local Tregaron-born highwayman and outlaw Twm Siôn Cati. Join the modern-day Twm on a journey around the area of his cave, travelling back 400 years in time and get to know the legend of the ‘Robin Hood of Wales’. The walk is graded a grade B – Easy walk which should last approximately three to four hours and is over a distance of seven miles with an ascent of 529m. The meeting point is at 10am outside Y Talbot and the leader is Dafydd Wyn Morgan, 01974 298 150. Should you wish to become a member of Clwb Cerdded Tregaron Walking Club then please feel free to give Dafydd the secretary a ring on 01974 298 150.

AR nos Iau, 23 Chwefror, treuliwyd noson ddiddorol ac addysgiadol yng nghwmni Cyril Evans. Mwynhawyd y sialens o geisio ateb cwestiynau am yr ardal ac roedd yn bleser cael cyfle i edrych ar hen luniau a sgwrsio am y newidiadau sydd wedi digwydd o’n hamgylch. Dathlu Gwyl Ddewi, yn y clwb rygbi ar nos Iau, 30 Mawrth.

English Methodist Church
