Inner Wheel

MEMBERS of the Club met at The Trefeddian Hotel, Aberdyfi on Thursday, 1 December. President Jane Pearson chaired the business meeting and Jane welcomed members, past-members and a prospective member to the Christmas lunch. A delicious meal was enjoyed by everyone, thanks to the staff of the Trefeddian. As is the club’s tradition at this time of year, a donation box was circulated for contributions towards a Children’s Charity in lieu of sending Christmas cards to each other, plus a raffle. £90 was raised which will be sent to ‘When you wish upon a star, a charity granting wishes to children with a life threatening illness. These include trips to Disneyland and Lapland to see Father Christmas. The raffle was won by Meg Jones.
