THE residents of Talgarreg were proud to receive a defibrillator for their community, supplied through Megan Jones, who organised a concert to raise money.

Megan presented the money to Cllr Gareth Lloyd, in memory of her parents Tommy and Maggie Jones.

The presentation took place at Tafarn Glanyrafon, where a demonstration on its use by Keith Holmes followed.
