PENPARCAU Community Forum is asking for your vote after it was shortlisted for a prestigious award for the second year in a row.

The annual WCVA — Wales Council for Voluntary Action — Third Sector Awards Cymru were set up to honour the hard work and inspirational achievements of the third sector in Wales.

Penparcau Community Forum, known simply as the Forum locally, finished runner-up in the main category of last year’s award for the Most Admired Organisation at a glittering ceremony in the Hilton Hotel Cardiff, presented by Jason Mohammad.

And now, the Forum is again appealing for your vote after being shortlisted for the award, which recognises organisations most respected for their inspirational work and the causes they represent, for the second year running.

Bryn Jones, Forum co-ordinator, said: “The Third Sector Awards Cymru honour the hard work and inspirational achievements of the third sector in Wales, and the prestigious Most Admired award is for organisations most respected for their work and the causes they represent.”

Voting closes on 13 January and the winner will be announced at the Third Sector Awards Cymru ceremony in February.
