CONCERNS have been raised at the delay in holding drop-in sessions to inform Porthmadog residents of the risk of flooding.
Natural Resources Wales has agreed to hold drop-in sessions in the town after the area saw a dramatic increase in water levels at the Glaslyn and The Cut.
Also hit by floods were businesses in Tremadog and Porthmadog Football Club which was left under water on several occasions.
But the drop-in sessions have still not been held.
And now Porthmadog town councillors are asking why the sessions have not been held.
Cllr Jason Humphreys said: “I’m disappointed at the delay in holding the drop-in session and in the publication of last year’s Flood Risk Audit of the Porthmadog area.
“Holding a drop-in session then will not be as effective as if they had done it earlier as we originally discussed."
Gareth Evens, team leader, Flood Risk Management, Natural Resources Wales said: "We are in discussions with Gwynedd Council to organise a drop-in session during the summer.”
