CHURCHGOERS have raised hundreds of pounds for new life-saving equipment.
The congregation at Capel Soar has come together to collect enough money to buy and install a defibrillator in case of a medical emergency in the Talsarnau area.
A representative of Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd (CCG) thanked the residents for their efforts, saying: “Well done to members of Capel Soar for raising funds to pay for a defib machine.
“It has been placed on a garage wall at Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd’s estates in Maes Gwndwn in the centre of the village.
“A valuable asset for the whole community.”
