MEMBERS of Ceredigion County Council staff have received recognition for their achievements during the year.

Staff were recognised, on behalf of their respective services, who had experienced successes during the past year.

Leader of Ceredigion County Council, Cllr Ellen ap Gwyn, said: “I’d like to congratulate all of our staff who were awarded. There is so much remarkable and diverse work going on within the council.

“I would like to thank all the staff who continue to deliver and work hard on behalf of the council, especially in such challenging times.”

The leader and chairman of the council congratulated the following members of staff for their recent achievements at award ceremonies.

At the Midland HR Customer Impact Awards, Clint Middleton and Adrian Williams were highly commended in the best new customer project category for the implementation of the new HR/payroll system.

At the National Government Opportunities Awards 2016/17, George Ryley’s Minor Works Framework was shortlisted for the innovation or initiative of the year award (local government).
