A COUNCILLOR has said he is “disappointed” he wasn’t informed by the council of the removal of a bus shelter in his ward.
At a meeting of Aberystwyth Town Council, Cllr Ceredig Davies questioned the council’s removal of the bus shelter at Owain Glyndwr Square on 13 December, which, he claimed, happened without informing him.
Cllr Davies said: “I am personally disappointed that Ceredigion council took away the bus shelter on Owain Glyndwr Square without keeping the local members informed.”
The council apologised for not telling Cllr Davies sooner, but said it had now provided him with a “comprehensive update”.
A council spokesperson said: “Officers have provided Cllr Davies with a comprehensive update on the situation and apologised for the delay in communicating this.”
