Madam,
I refer to issues raised recently in letters to the editor.
Firstly, I would like to thank Roger Owen for cleaning the path at the bottom of Min-y-ddol, in Penparcau, which was overgrown by bramble-brake, nettles and thistles, and secondly the lady with the mobility scooter who could not use the path due to too much mud. Surely she should have had an apology.
Regarding the above two issues, I would like to know where were the county councillors? These people get paid to do a job for the community, but where are they when people need them most?
People who are elected should walk these public footpaths at regular times to make sure they are trouble-free.
Yours etc,
Lloyd Edwards, Welsh Liberal Democrat candidate for Penparcau 2017 county council elections.
