The Lampeter husband-and-wife running team of Jane and Steven Holmes raised almost £600 for Velindre Cancer Centre by completing the Cardiff Half Marathon – on top of the £21,300 they have already raised for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

The dynamic duo, who live at Ffarmers, are now looking forward to again completing the Snowdonia Marathon on Saturday.

Jane, who has been treated for lung cancer, said of Velindre: “We were delighted to be able to support and give something back to such an amazing facility.”
