A Lampeter drug driver has been banned from the road for 18 months by magistrates.
Stephen Butler, of 13 Station Terrace, appeared for sentencing before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 21 October.
Butler had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing in September to driving on Peterwell Terrace in Lampeter on 16 January this year with both cannabis and benzoylecgonine – the major metabolite of cocaine – in his system.
Butler also admitted charges of driving without a licence and without insurance.
Magistrates disqualified Butler from driving for 18 months and handed him a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work.
He must also pay £85 costs and a surcharge to fund victim services of £114.
