An Aberystwyth woman who assaulted a man has been handed a fine and community order by magistrates.

Katy Gardiner March, of 5 The Albion, St James’s Square, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 7 October.

The 22-year-old pleaded guilty to assaulting Aratio Richardson in Aberystywth on 8 June this year.

Magistrates handed March a community order to include 12 months of alcohol treatment and a fine of £120.

She must also pay £85 costs and a £114 surcharge.
