A Barmouth man will stand trial later this year after denying a charge of using threatening behaviour.

John Swift-Simpkin, of 11 Heol Y Llan, appeared before Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on 6 February.

The 66-year-old pleaded not guilty to using threatening or abusive behaviour in Barmouth on 19 October last year.

Swift-Simpkin is due to stand trial on the charge at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on 25 April.

He was remanded on conditional bail until that date.
